Registered Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) specialize in treating and providing relief for a wide range of conditions related to soft tissue and joint dysfunction, pain management and rehabilitation. We have 4 RMTs on staff educated in many massage modalities and techniques to customize a treatment just for you. Treatments by an RMT are covered by extended health care plans. We can bill directly to Green Shield Canada, Great West Life and Blue Cross.

Who Qualifies As A Registered Massage Therapist?

Only members of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) can use the title Massage Therapist (MT) or Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). A Massage Therapist has completed an extensive 2200 hour course in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and clinical studies. After passing the provincial exams and registering with the CMTO, the therapist is now regulated under the Regulated Health Profssions Act. Massage Therapists abide by the Quality Assurance Program, Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics and must show Continued Education and Practice.
